Feet Fight Fote Foot #SecretSubjectSwap

Welcome to January's Secret Subject Swap. Our first one of 2018! Happy New Year! This week ten brave bloggers submitted a secret subject for someone else and were assigned a secret subject to interpret in their own style. Today we are all simultaneously divulging our topics and submitting our posts.

My “Secret Subject” is:
You wake up and find your feet look like a Hobbit, big and hairy, but the rest of your body is normal. What do you do?
It was submitted by:

First thing I would do, is try to figure out how Chad's feet became attached to my body. I kid, I kid. Kinda. Chad is about five feet eight inches tall, and wears a size thirteen shoe. He has massive feet. I am still baffled by it. However, they do give him a very strong, solid stance. So, he will forever have that going for him. My feet are far from tiny, and yet next to his, they look small.

I definitely think waking up with feet that were suddenly a lot bigger, and having a bit more hair, would be very alarming, but not too much so. I would probably schedule an appointment with my doctor. Then I would call Chad, and make him come home. What if the rest of me decided to change? I need Gigi to be safe and cared for. Once he was home, I would borrow some of his socks and shoes, and hopefully they fit. Then I would head off to the doctor.

Maybe it would be some rare phenomenon, and I would get some weird condition named after me. Maybe it would lead me to get some endorsements and money. Possibly, I could go on a shoe buying spree. I really don't know. I think I would obviously go get a pedicure, and tip that nail technician a HUGE tip.

I would still be me, no matter what. I have been through so much in my life, I have learned to really not care about the little things, or in this case, the abnormally large things. I would still be me, and I would find ways to work around any obstacles caused by the big, hairy feet. I would not think lowly of myself, nor would I let any one's negative comments affect me. Everyone will have an opinion, and I am smart enough to know, I am way more than my feet. Plus, in the grand scheme of things, having big, hairy feet isn't that bad. My nose could have grown huge, or I could have gotten ginormously tall, or I could have shrank down to the size of an ant. There are definitely far worse possibilities.
However, I guess it is safe to say, the first thing I would do, is wake up from the Hobbit foot dream, have a good giggle, and then tell Gigi she just HAS to hear about my latest dream. She and I LOVE sharing our dreams with each other, during our morning cuddles. It is a tradition I plan on carrying on, as long as possible. Gigi cuddles are the best, and her dreams can be quite entertaining.

So, what would you do, if you woke up with huge, hairy hobbit feet?! Be sure to let me know in the comments, and then head over to the other Secret Subject Swap posts, and see what they wrote about this month!! I will meet you there!! You know the drill... Coffee first, then meet you there!! :)

  1. Oh my goodness, what a prompt! You're right, in life there are more important things, and you certainly have bigger fish to fry than worry about unusual feet.
    Happy Friday!
