Misadventures on the Night Shift #BookReview

It is Saturday, and time for my latest review of the newest release in the Misadventures Series. This one was written by Lauren Rowe. It is hot, hot, hot, and lives up to the great read precedent set by the previous books in this series. I highly recommend you read it. At this point, I genuinely feel it is safe to say that we should just read every book released in this series.

This one was extremely steamy. It was well written. The plot was wonderful, the characters were fabulous, there were tons of steamy parts, and the ending was wonderful. It really hit all the marks of a great book. Admittedly, if you don't like steamy scenes, this one may be a bit hard for you to read. However, if you just skim those parts, the story is still wonderful and worth reading.

Abby and Lucas' story is a bit unconventional, but I have no doubt you will be pulling for them to make a permanent connection. They are truly lovable characters. Lucas seems a bit bad, but once you dig deep, he is a wonderful guy. As for Abby, she is just wonderful. Her views of herself are a bit skewed by the opinions of others, but by the end, she loves herself the way she should. I found myself relating to her quite a bit.

So, once again, as with the rest of the Misadventures Series books, I am giving it two thumbs up. Continue reading to find out about this book, the author, where to get a copy of your own, and to find a link to a giveaway!!

As always, if you read this book, feel free to reach out to me, to discuss it!! Thank you for reading!!

Synopsis
Hotel clerk Abby Medford has always enjoyed the quiet solitude of the night shift. The long, boring hours allow her time to study her law books. But when bad-boy-rocker Lucas Ford checks into the penthouse suite one night and demands Abby personally deliver his room service request, her formerly quiet nights are quickly filled with Lucass erotic games. But as Abby soon learns, if she thinks she can indulge her innermost desires with Lucas without giving him her heart, shes dead wrong.

What I need you to know... I was given an ARC of this book, so I could write an honest review. I was not paid to say anything positive, and everything I wrote is my honest opinion.

Mother Earth #UseYourWords

Welcome to July's Use Your Words post! This is how it works: participating bloggers picked four to six words or short phrases for someone else to craft into a post. All words must be used at least once and all the posts will be unique as each writer has received their own set of words. That is the challenge, here is a fun twist; no one who is participating knows who got their words and in what direction the writer will take them. Until now.

My words are: bat ~ environment ~ foreshadow ~ lonesome ~ oddly They were submitted by: http://theblogging911.com/blog
I am typing this on my new Chromebook. I got it dirt cheap on Amazon Prime Day. I am not trying to brag, but I am a fast typist, and make very few typos. However, In just these last few lines, I have made about a million typos. Change may be nice, but sometimes it takes a bit to get used to. Oy. So, please bear with me. Oddly, despite not liking change and fighting it as much as possible, I am actually excited about this change. Ho…

Best Served Cold #SecretSubjectSwap

Welcome to June's Secret Subject Swap. This week eleven brave bloggers picked a secret subject for someone else and were assigned a secret subject to interpret in their own style. Today we are all simultaneously divulging our topics and submitting our posts.

My “Secret Subject” is: Tell us a revenge story, truth or fiction. It was submitted by: Jenniy ofhttp://climaxedtheblog.blogspot.com (Thank you for such an awesome topic!!)

Revenge is a dish best served cold. That is how it goes, right? They also say revenge is sweet. Cold and sweet. Sounds like sorbet or ice cream. Sounds yummy and sticky. When I read this prompt, I immediately thought of one story. It is really all I ever think of, when I think of revenge.

This really isn't my story to tell, but I know my friend won't mind me telling y'all, because I have asked permission many times over the years, and she always tells me I can. The she I am talking about, is my friend Opie. She is this amazing woman, who is one of m…
