I don't want to be some old, bitter lady sitting on a bench one day,
looking back on life with regrets.
I don't want to be some middle aged, wannabe, babe acting half my age.
I don't want to be some wistful dreamer, caught in an impossible dream.
I don't want to waste the fire of potential raging inside of me.
I don't want to be an artist, that just paints still portraits of an empty jug surrounded by fruit.
I want to be a happy old lady, full of a zest for life and happy memories.
I want to be a content middle aged lady, who acts my age.
I want to live up to every flame of potential within me.
I want to paint every scene that catches my eye.
I want to live.
I want to love.
I want to grow.
I want to evolve.
I want to be.
