My words are:
love bug ~ romance ~ flowers ~ hearts ~ friends ~ candy
They were submitted by: http://spatulasonparade.blogspot.com/
We started out as friends.
Hanging out. Listening to music.
Debating on important topics.
No candy and flowers.
No signs of romance.
Just two friends enjoying each other's company.
Then the love bug bit.
Our hearts became involved.
Love blossomed and passion ignited.
Somehow we made some wrong turns.
Ended up in the wrong place.
No longer lovers.
No longer friends.
Just a sad ending to an epic tale.
A stack of should haves and could haves.
Missed chances.
Foiled plans.
Love spoiled by poor choices.
I miss our friendship.
I miss our romance.
I miss the passion.
I miss what could have been.

ReplyDeleteThis takes me right back to my High School days. So many missed chances, people I'd been involved with that should have worked out so much better than it did.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of words and so much emotion -- well done. Brought back many memories
