Today’s post is this month’s Funny Friday, a regular feature published on the last Friday of every month. Funny Friday is a collaborative project. Each month one of the participants submits a picture, then we all write five captions or thoughts inspired by that month’s picture. 1. Spaghetti leader to chef: We will not be forced to change! We will remain in our natural state, you will not eat us! C'mon y'all! Run! Do not give in to the softening powers of the water!

2. Wife to hubby: Does the spaghetti look like that when I cook? No. The point is to get the spaghetti IN the pot! Go watch TV, and let me finish this!
Hubby to himself: Yes! I bet she will never ask for help again!

3. Child to mom: See, Mom! I helped!
Mom to herself: Oh Gee.
Mom to child: Aw! That's great! Thank you so much! Now go play, and I finish up!

4. Hubby to wife: I think it's time you go to the eye doctor.
Wife: Why?
Hubby: You cannot even see what you are doing anymore.
Wife: You have no idea what you are talking about. I can see just fine! Now, where did I put my wooden spoon? I swear I just had it.

5. Anyone else look at this, and get the serious urge to play Pick Up Sticks?!?! Just me?

For everyone that celebrated.... I hope you all had a very blessed Thanksgiving! We Berghams had a great day! Yummy food and great company! I did well in Fantasy Football. I was able to buy a homeless man a warm meal at Denny's. Overall a great day!

Thank you for taking the time to check out my contribution to this month's Funny Friday! Now, go forth and let my friends make you giggle!

    1. It's a trick Chad is an expert at.
It made me so happy. I asked him what he wanted, and he said eggs and pancakes. So, I got him that and more. I told my friend Rob last night... I NEED to win the lottery, so I can help people all the time. Helping people makes me beyond happy.

  4. My kids have learned that trick when it comes to doing their chores. I'd blame them, but I guess I'm the sucker!

  5. Absolutely yes on the pick up sticks! LOL. #2 is my husband's life-long goal; To seem just inept enough to not have to help :)
Hope your holiday weekend was a great one!

Any way, I was saying that I love the pick up sticks line and that my husband always tries to live his life like #2. Just enough to get by... <3

Rainbow Colored Glasses #BlogWithFriends

Welcome to March's Blog with Friends Round-up. Each month, a group of bloggers chooses a topic, and then creates blog posts based on that theme. The posts can include anything, from poetry and recipes, to short stories and informative essays, and often crafts or DIY projects. This month's chosen theme is rainbows.

I decided to do a round-up of awesome rainbow finds, that are reasonably priced, and an easy way for your to add more rainbows into your life. I personally love rainbows, and actually enjoy adding them into my life whenever possible. I especially like adding them into Gigi's wardrobe. My inspiration for the title of this post, were a pair of glasses I bought her. Rose colored glasses are cool, but rainbow colored is such a better view! Unless of course you love black, and then I am sorry.

I will be posting links to where you can find the items to buy. However, I encourage you to shop around, and see if you are able to find any better deals. I also want you to know,…

Weather Outside is Frightful #BlogWithFriends

Welcome to February's Blog With Friends round-up!! I have had so much fun joining in, that I decided to tag along for February as well. In case you do not know how it works... A group of bloggers chooses a theme for the month, and then we all create unique posts, based on the same theme. Then we link up together, and provide y'all with a round-up!! The posts can contain anything... Recipes, poetry, short stories, a crafting how to, a DIY how to, and everything in between!! Each month is unique and fun!!

Our theme for February is Winter Activities!! You may be thinking... You are in California, what could you possibly have to contribute about winter activities!? Well, you would be right. LOL. However, I have not lived here my entire life. Plus, I have the unique "joy" of being sensitive to colder temperatures. So, I do have some ideas I want to share, for winter activities that can be done inside, when the weather outside is just too frightful (or in my case too chilly…

Welcome to this month’s Funny Friday, a regular feature published on the last Friday of every month. Funny Friday is a collaborative project. Each month one of the participants submits a picture, then we all write five captions or thoughts inspired by that month’s picture.

Here’s today’s picture. It was submitted by Minette of Southern Belle Charm.

1. Duke: Just five more minutes!
2. Duke: You want me to walk further?! That will cost you a Milk bone.
3. Duke: Mommmm, whyyyyyyy?! Can we just stop walking now?! Do we really need to walk more?! I mean, we have to be a solid ten feet from the porch. That is enough walking right?!
4. Duke: If you insist on bringing me to the vet, you will have to carry me. I will not aid in this. The last time you took me there, well, we just won't discuss that.
5. Duke: Must take a quick nap. That Thanksgiving feast wore me out. So. Much. Chewing.
