You know that in my country all the kids walk, at first accompanied by a parent, and after a few weeks, alone, respectively with their friends. Our village may be different from yours. We don't know what weird people live in those houses as we don't have registered anything, or if they are it's not public knowledge. I hope you can find a way. Befriending parents form her class seems a good idea anyway, network, playdates, babysitting and all.
